Ski Conditions Report -Monday, March 26, 2007.
Our Trails are closed for the season. Thanks to all of our skiers who have enjoyed a late starting but very solid ski year in 2007. Reminder to our season pass holders to look for our early season discounts in the fall.

Wednesday Night Ski Race Series 2007!
A 5k Open Race Series
Alternates between Skating & Classic Style Races

DETAILS:
 Starts Jan. 31st at 7:00pm
 Cost per racer - $11.00 ($7.00 trail pass plus $4.00 entry fee), season pass holders - $4.00
 Entry fees will go towards prizes
 Race course is a 2.5K with each racer doing two laps - Total 5K
 Race style will alternate between classical and skating according to current ski conditions
 Racers will be awarded points according to their finishing place in each race
 Race points will roll-over until the last week of racing
 The top three racers with the most points will be awarded prizes
 Racers must compete in a minimum if three races to be eligible for prizes
 Races are scheduled to run every Wednesday through March 7th, weather permitting

Byrncliff Hosts the Special Olympics Super Regional Qualifier!

Brought here by the New York Special Olympics Genesee Region
Show your support and come to watch the races!

40 Athletes, ages 8 years and up, from Jamestown, Olean, Orleans County, Stueben County, Geneseo, & Avon will compete in this Super Regional to qualify for the NY State Games at the end of February.

Registration at 9:00 am
Opening Ceremony: 9:30 am
Competition: 10am - 2pm
Followed by Awards Ceremony

Nordic Sprints 25, 50, 100 Meters
SnowShoe 500 & 1000 Meters
SnowShoe 10, 50, 100 Meters

Registration Time: 8 - 9:45am
Race Time: 10am Sharp
Entry Fee: Pre-register before 2/7 = $25.00, After 2/7 = $30.00
Length & Style: Classic Style - 5K for Scholastic, 10K all others
Fee Includes: Trail pass for the day, wings & pizza after the race, and prizes.
