Since Immaculata Academy opened its doors in 1928, the school has held strong to its Franciscan tradition. Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph were there, not only to prepare each woman for the challenges of life, but also to help set the foundation of faith that would sustain them through the years. Now, both Sisters and lay teachers of the Academy work to ensure that this tradition continues and that is why we seek support from our alumnae and friends. While the cost of providing a Catholic education today to women at Immaculata Academy is over $10,000, we recognize that parents alone cannot carry such a burden. This is why the work done by the Office of Institutional Advancement is so critical. We work to bridge the gap between tuition income and the real costs associated with educating our students through various fundraising events and activities.
