2008 JV Soccer Schedule & Results (updated 10/17/08) Team Highlights 2008 10/14/08 - After opening their season with a big win over Mt. St. Mary's, the Bears hit a bit of a slide, losing six straight games, before playing JFK to a 1-1 tie. They'll take on MMA rivals Sacred Heart and Mt. St. Mary's this week, looking for their second win on the year. 9/8/08 - The JV Bears opened their season with a 4-3 win over Mt. St. Mary's last Thursday. Sophomore LeeAnn Tatar found the back of the net twice, while freshmen Bridget Philbin and Alexis Snyder each notched a goal. The girls dropped a tough game to Eden on Friday, losing 6-0, evening their record at 1-1. 2007 The JV program notched a couple impressive victories during the 2007 campaign. With several veterans returning next year, the team is very excited about their prospects for 2008 and is already looking forward to taking the field in the fall. |
