My name is Bailey and I've been coming to La De Da for about 5 years now. I can't say enough about everyone here. They are all so kind and caring it's kind of like having a second family and home! Everybody is very receptive to my special needs. What I mean by that is I have a bit of an anxiety problem. I'm afraid of big trucks and school buses. They're way too loud for me! But if I get too nervous on the way there they soon put me at ease and distract me when I arrive and I'm so happy for that! They are also very patient with me for my grooming and pedicures. They are very attentive to all my little quirks. I LOVE coming here and can't wait to barge through the door to see all my friends (two legged and four legged) and give them some tail waggin' and jumpin' as a way to greet everyone and say "Hello". I'm glad to be here!! |

My name is Bella and I am an Airedale in doggie day care at La De Da. I love playing with all my friends, especially Angel, Baby, Edison, and Rebel. La De Da has such neat facilities. I can go inside or outside to play and if I really get tired I can sleep on the chairs or couch, although you won't see me there much. Aunt Laura, Aunt Sue, Aunt Little Laura, Aunt Allyson and Uncle Scott play with me, keep me company and treat me special. They gave me the nickname, "The Cookie Queen". I don't know why. Hi My Name is Ziggy. When it is time to go to La De Da, I get so excited that I squeal the whole way there. I just can't wait to see my friends at day care like Luke, Little Laura, Aunt Sue, Aunt Lindsay and Aunt Laura and everyone here at LaDeDa! They treat me like their own and gave me nick names like Ziggameister and Ziggalicious! Mom and Dad are glad that I have a safe and fun place where they know I get the best care. There are never any worries knowing that I am with an experienced and professional staff. We are just so grateful for LaDeDa and don't know what we would ever do without them? Hi My Name is Mr. Reilly and I have been a grateful customer at La De Da Pet Spa since I can remember. I must have been just a puppy when my owners Brendan and Kathleen Cunningham started taking me here. Obviously, they have to be pretty smart people because this place is really something special. As you can tell, I am not just your average Sheltie, either. Clearly I am well read and I have done my research. (See photo attached) I am just very happy that my owners did as much research as I would have done. After all, I can’t be expected to be treated like a dog, now can I? I am only the most important member of the family, right? For my money I cannot imagine going anywhere else for either grooming or general dog care. My favorite part is when I get my haircut (of course, I get the full wash and set), they always make me smell so manly with a spritz of one of my favorite colognes like “Poochie” or one of the other popular scents. I'm Casey, with my baby brother, Ruff. We can't wait to get in the car, and spend three days a week at La De Da, (our school and our second home). We've been coming here since we were puppies, to get "socialized", says my "Mom". I can mix with the big dogs now. Ruffie - well, he still needs more work, woof! We love "Aunt" Laura, "Aunt" Sue, and all of our Aunts and uncle here at La De Da. They take such excellent care of Ruff and me, and all of my dog pals. That's because they truly love all of us, are highly qualified, and truly love their jobs too! We have our own special bed under "Aunt" Sue's front desk. We do have to share it though. La De Da also keeps us clean and beautiful, with our "Full Spas" every month - our "cousin" Roxy, too! "Mom and Dad" feel very comfortable leaving us "Little - Little's" (our nickname) here all day. We have two terriers, Edison and Bell. We started to bring Edison to LaDeDa Pet Spa when he was 4-months old. It was a wonderful experience for him and he loves it there. Every morning, when I grab his leash, Edison circles at the door and jumps up with excitement. As soon as he gets to LaDeDa, he puts his paws on the gate and knocks at it until it opens so that he can get in. Bell was also enrolled at 4-months old. As soon as she gets there, she always announces her presence with a friendly "Grrrrr". Sending our dogs to LaDeDa as puppies has been a wonderful socialization experience. I work full time and my long workdays have me away from home for a minimum of 11 hours per day. When I first adopted Gypsy as a 9 month stray from a country-run pound, she was a timid (most likely abused) and fearful animal who did not even know how to "play". Before I was able to start her 4 day per week day care membership she would experience high intensity wild energy bursts which I was unable to exercise out of her on my own and which were beginning to give me some concern. From her very first day at La De Da Pet Spa, Gypsy came home happily fatigued after a day filled with outside romps with other dogs in her play-group and the loving attention of the La De Da staff. Soon, Gypsy was flourishing from her routine of exercise, fresh air and playful interaction with her 4-legged and 2-legged friends. She has grown into a confident, expressive and loving companion with a playful sense of curiosity and intelligence. The benefits and qualifications of La De Da are numerous. First of all is the high level of professionalism and attentiveness to each dog's unique personality and needs. Before a dog is accepted for day care, Laura requests an introductory day to assess the candidate's personality and suitability. If a dog is accepted for day care membership, Laura and her staff place the "new kid" in an appropriate play group and then observe the interactions and success of the match. If there are any problems or compatibility issues, Laura works with other play group placements or alternatives until they hit upon a solution. What this highlights is the focus on interaction, socialization and supervised play rather than indifferent kenneling or warehousing of your dog. But the observation and management of your dog's behavior does not end there. Laura maintains a behavior tracking and passive obedience system which helps prevent an unsafe environment for all of the day care participants. Mild behavior problems which may erupt during the day can result in a "time out" for your dog. This means dogs exhibiting problematic behavior can be isolated to avoid an escalation of tensions and the correction of bad conduct. In the event of a more severe behavior or aggression, a dog will receive a "strike" on their record, in addition to being isolated. Should a dog accumulate 3 "strikes" they can be expelled from day care. In addition to the day care services, La De Da offers grooming services and a report card so that you can track your dog's behavior during grooming and any hygiene, health or maintenance concerns that are observed by the groomer. This serves as a good independent review of your pet's skin, coat, ears, eyes and overall health status. Yet another benefit is La De Da's assistance at times when your dog is not feeling itself or is recovering from surgery. The staff is competent in administering medications and have allowed Gypsy to attend on days when she could not play. Under these circumstances the staff will keep the "under the weather kids" quiet for a day of rest and supervision at times when you cannot be there. I am truly grateful for Laura and her fantastic crew of groomers and handlers. Everyone on Laura's staff is professional and exceptionally affectionate and caring in the treatment of their canine clientele. I am also also appreciative that the services offered by La De Da Pet Spa are even an available option, as I am certain that without them I would not be able to have Gypsy in my life. Hi! My name is Haley Vargo, better known as "Wiggles" here at La De Da Pet Spa. My mommy brings me here every Tuesday and Thursday, because she knows how much fun I have! I just don't know what I would do if I couldn't play ball and go swimming with all he friends I've made here. Laura and her staff love me so much they even give me "pinches" on my nose just like Mommy does. Mommy has even signed me up for my very own spa membership... that means great discounts for her on all my spa services. And, if I'm really good, they spray me with glitter so I sparkle when Mommy picks me up. I LOVE LA DE DA. Why don't you ask your Mommy to bring you, I just love to make new friends. |

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful the La De Da Pet Spa is. My dog Kramer attends day care there at least two times a week. The facilities are fantastic. They have a large play area outside with misters and pools for the dogs to play in with their friends. They also have two large air conditioned rooms so that dogs do not get overheated. The atmosphere is very cozy with all the comforts of home. They also do a terrific job when grooming. They can handle every variety of dog from extra large to very small. The best part about La De Da is their warm and friendly staff. They pay a lot of individual attention to every dog to ensure their needs are met. The owner is a vet technician which gives me great piece of mind if an emergency should arise. I have been to other doggy day care centers and they throw your dog in back and don't want to be bothered with them again. The staff at La De Da love my dog as much as I do. Hi, I’m a Japanese Chin named Suki. My sister’s name is Aiko. I and my sister are very small. Mom began bringing us to LA DE DA to be groomed once a month. As you can see I have a pug nose. She was referred by a friend who had a pug nose dog and said they were good with this kind of grooming. I really feel great after I have my monthly “spa day”. My sister has bad allergies and they take special care to make sure they don’t use the wrong shampoo or conditioner on her. Even my report card says I’m AA+! Although we are very small, they handle us gently. My mom was taking me to another day care place, I really wasn’t crazy about it and then she stopped taking me. She had other things going on. All of a sudden one day she decided to bring me to LA DE DA on Wednesdays for daycare. Now, I can’t wait to come every week. As soon as she says “were going to play with the other doggies”, I do my duty and try to jump into the car. When we get there, mom puts me down and I run to the door and can’t wait to get play time with the other guests. The ladies watch me to ensure I don’t get hurt, but they give me lots of exercise. Boy am I exhausted when I get home. Mom loves it because I sleep most of the night. My sister is going to start coming soon. Boy, she doesn’t know what she is missing! Please bring your friends to LA DE DA so I may have some more friends to play with when I’m there. I don’t care what size you are big or small. I just love having a great time! Thanks Donna Butler |

Our Golden retriever "Sam" has been a client of La De Da Pet Spa both for day care and grooming since shortly after they opened their doors. Our Sam needs loads of attention and with both myself and my spouse working full time we wanted to make sure Sam was not alone all day while we weren't home. When we learned about La De Da Pet Spa and went in for a further look, it was evident to us that this was where we wanted our Sam to spend his day. Between all the petting, love and exercise he gets, he is exhausted by the time he gets home. Whether it's being cooled by the outdoor misters, playing in the little swimming pool, running in the snow during the colder months or watching cartoons in the playroom we know he is having a good time. The owner and staff of La De Da also are wonderful to deal with and are constantly aware of your pet and your pet's needs. We recently had a little scare with Sam where he wasn't feeling well yet we didn't know what was going on with him. So while we waited for vet appointments we were able to send him to La De Da where they watched him closely and gave me updates while I was at work. It was so comforting to know that even though I couldn't be with him he was some place where he was safe and happy and knew the people he was with. Dear La De Da, Thank you for providing the perfect "home away from home" for Toby, our two year old Bichon Frise. Your facilities are amazing! The doggie daycare offers play, exercise and socialization in a clean, safe and friendly environment. Your grooming facilities produce show dog results while at the same time keeping Toby happy and calm during the entire grooming process. The best part of La De Da is the people who work there. We started going to La De Da Pet Spa because our dog was bored at home during the long cold Buffalo winters. He loved it, played and ran all day at the spa and was so much happier at home. We as pet owners love La De Da because its so clean and run by people who love dogs themselves and it shows. Now we have adopted a second dog (a rescue sheltie from La De Da) and she loves her day care too. We have shopped around for dog day care and consider ourselves lucky to have found La De Da Pet Spa. Elmwood has been attending La De Da Pet Spa for over five years. He loves it! Every Thursday and Friday, Elmwood sits by the front door. He knows it is a “school day”. When we say, “Elmwood, do you want to go to La De Da,” he goes crazy because he is so excited to go there! The staff is excellent. They really take time to care for and play with all the dogs. They do a great job grooming too. Whenever Elmwood gets groomed, he gets a report card telling us how he behaved and if any problems were found (he tends to have ear issues). We (and Elmwood) highly recommend taking your dog there! |
