Maya's 9th Birthday Celebration
In lieu of birthday gifts, Maya asked her guests to bring a donation for HEART. She provided her guests with HEART's Wish List from the website so the girls knew what HEART needed.
The girls brought them all wrapped up, just like birthday gifts and Maya opened them one-by-one. She was so excited to collect all the items for HEART! Maya's Mom bought one gift as well.
The donations included $30 cash, $20 Tops gift cards, bleach, 2 cat beds, lots of paper towels, a cat tunnel house and a cat scratcherMaya's 9th Birthday Celebration

A very big "THANK YOU" to Girl Scout Junior Troop 418. They visited the HEART Adoption Center on 48 Buffalo Street, Hamburg on March 15, 2012 and gave HEART 12 dog and 12 cat magnetic picture holders to be given out with the next 24 cat/dog adoptions. They will have a picture of the pet adopted and will be placed in their folder to go home. Pictured is Emily with Satin the cat (top picture) and Erica with Luther (bottom picture).

Girl Scout Brownie Troop 30773
Our precious Girl Scout Brownie Troop 30773 visited the HAC on Feb, 4, 2012 to play with the kitties and present a check to HEART. The girls worked very hard selling cookies and made enough to go camping. They voted and decided to give $50 of their camping money to HEART.
